Blogg Nice

Well my plan turned out to be a success. In my first class I said hi to the person next to me. In turn he said hi back. However, at my second class I was not that successful. I did not know him so when I said hi, he just said nothing. That proves my point, some people do not say hi to people that they do not know. My 3rd, 4th, and 5th period classes were repetitive. All they did was nod their head. It was like an empty comment. Overall the people in my classes today were polite.

what I have been doing

I just did a helpful thing right now by helping Mr.Vega passing out computers to the class! Also I have said "hi" to people i know but not to people i don't know yet. I'll get back to you by Friday though. It's hard to say hi to people that you don't know though.

Making the World Better-Results!

My results from making the World better were pretty good. I didn't find anyone being bullied but I did get a new neighbor so I decided to introduce myself. I thought it would be weird and scary to meet someone new but it was really easy. I said my name, they said theirs. Done. I could see from the look on their face that they were anxious at first since they didn't know anyone in the neighborhood but they seemed to have calmed down once they knew at least one person. It made me feel good for just letting someone know my name and not completely ignoring them. I know it must have made their day.

Do They Think I'm Crazy?

So lately I have been trying a new thing. Many talk about how the world isn't a good place, so I decided to do a little experiment. I decided to smile at people I don't know. The results were mutual. I got some sweet smiles back, but I also got some um do I know you smiles as well. That just shows that smiling can make the world a better place, for the people you know who are having a bad day, but for the people you don't know. Well, that won't do any good.

My mixed results

After a couple days of my experiment, I report that my results varied from person to person. I said hi to some kids and they usually just stared at me while very few said an almost in audible hi. As I was leaving school one day I was walking through a door, and a lady behind me was carrying a lot of papers and books. I thought that it would be nice to help her out so I held the door open for her. She walked through looking surprised and said thank you and gave me a smile. I guess people don't do simple things like that nowadays and when someone does do that, they are surprised and grateful. That just shows how the world is in great need of people being nice. The only thing I forgot to do was to give gummy bears and lollipops out. I'll just do that next time.

Changing the World 1 smile at a time

I can be a very mean person, and the world has been suffering from mean people and for me, I can make the world a better place by giving a smile to random people I see. When someone you don't know smiles at you, it could be considered as creepy or kind. But when someone goes out of their way to give you a smile, it makes you feel happy. And that could make the world a better place because people need to start being kind and treating one another with respect and care.

make the world better place (baby steps)

''We are the world'' if we are the world we live in should be much better. Sadly it's not so i'm going to make the world a better place. I'm going to do that by saying hi to people I know and introduce myself to people I don't know. Wish me luck hopefully no one calls me a ''LOSER'' for telling them hi if I don't know them.
