So when we were given this assignment to pick something we were interested in, I thought of none other than, the worldwide phenomenon, Harry Potter. Of course I already knew a lot about the Harry Potter series, but what I did not know is how much money did the movie make on their latest movie?
To find out my question, I searched on the internet and found this website called list of high grossing films. On this website I found a list the 50 top films of the world. My film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, was rated number 3 in the world(just above Transformers: Dark of the Moon).
Next to it was the amount of money the movie got. The Box office Phenomenon earned 1,327,807,704 dollars WORLDWIDE! So far only 10 movies have reached this billion dollar goal. So overall, I found out that the movie made a lot of cash.
I love Harry Potter! And I think that it should be on top of Avatar. Avatar shouldn't even beat the Titanic! But I do really like Harry Potter. I used to get scared on Voldamort and Helena Bomben Carters character, but now I like them.
