Ballet is life

I am really fascinated by the performing dance known as Ballet.
The way the dancers are so free and how they can soar through the air is really wonderful.
Ballet originally started during the Italian Renaissance and has been amazing ever since. Many say that Ballet is for wimps, and it's lame, but it really isn't and they don't know what a thrill it is. Maybe if they gave it a chance, their opinion would be different.
Also, there are several different types of ballet known as classical, neoclassical, and contemporary. I am actually in a ballet class and we learn Contemporary Ballet, which is a mixture of both classical and neoclassical. I love feeling as free as a bird, which ballet offers me.

  1. I agree ballet is not only for wimps. Even though I do not do it I can still relate to the idea. I would however separate your paragraphs instead of making them into one big paragraph. Overall a nice job.

  3. It sounds interesting but the part where you said if only people tried it they would like it. I hope your talking about girls right because most boys aren't into that stuff unless they have a certain mindset on a goal or to just have fun but like there's not that many boys in ballet...just saying. Also since you like ballet there's this movie i saw called Billy Elliot I liked it.

P.S. Hey Josue stop saying golly it gives me the urge to punch a puppy

  5. Martin, no, ballet is definitely not for wimps, but some think hip-hop is the "superior" choice. Yes, Josue, I have, and I enjoyed it.Sam,actually when ballet was first created, women weren't allowed to dance, it was only for men at first. And yes, some boys take ballet if they do other forms of dance because most types of dance are based on basic ballet steps so it helps them adjust to their type of dance.
