Black Friday Sales

Most people talk about how black Friday is horrible to go and participate in because of all the fights. A lot of the people never have a conservation about the great sales and savings there is or was.

Some savings that i looked up were on Xbox save up to 100 dollars. another was the kindle fire was almost 200 dollars.

I never been out on black Friday but Im sure that these savings are great.

black friday more like crazy friday

Black Friday has always been crazy, there's always lesson to be learned . I've heard of many incidents that occur during Black Friday but the one that caught my eye was , a girl who was trampled on for a $15 video game.

This is all how it started she went to Wal-mart at 5 pm to be there when the doors opened at 10 pm. When the doors opened and she went to the game aisle, all of a sudden people were kicking her knee and suddenly she was on the ground.

Her mom was trying to help her up , but people were still walking over her. She finally was helped by a person who she was talking to earlier with her sock and boot missing. She's alright now but she just doesn't want anybody else to get hurt.

I feel that people have gotten more bitter and crazier to not notice they were stepping on someone. If I was in that situation, I would try to get up or yell. I just feel that every store should have more security and crowd control. I understand that we all want a good deal now and then but we also need to control our animal instincts. What I mean by animal instinct is that when we can't control ourselves whether it be in anger or excitement even the rush of a good deal, we want to turn into animals because we want what we want.

Some People Say Cazy, I say Fun.

Black Friday has been a tradition for my family since I was around 7 years old. Some say that getting up early in the morning to go shop for the day is crazy, but what they don't know is that it is one of the most amusing days days of the year!

On black Friday, the sales are amazing and a can't miss even. Sometimes you just have to do the crazy to get stuff done.
Some say crazy, but i say a great tradition that's going to be passed on from generation to generation.

Black Friday Mayhem

November 25 is a very hectic day known as Black Friday. This year, at a Target in West Virginia, supposedly, 61 year old, Walter Vance died. Accordingly, Vance was shopping for Christmas decorations when he collapsed in the store. The worst part is that the shoppers didn't help him up, they simply walked right over him. Target employees were there immediately to help him, and then resulting to sending him to a hospital, only for him to die awhile later. Yes, Black Friday is a day where you can get things for a lower price, but being trampled or possibly dying isn't worth it. I think it's sick that people just ignored him just so they can get the best electronics. I think it wouldn't have been that bad, since he wasn't pushed or trampled to the ground, if someone would've helped him sooner. But if it should have, it would have. You can learn the details here.

Friday

In the article "It's Back, Black Friday" there were many stories about Black Friday. They interviewed a family who instead of eating turkey like we do, they waited outside a Target store for 6 long hours. The family said they waited in line all just for an ipod touch.

This family was insane. If they wanted to wait in line for just an ipod, then they were nuts. It was Thanksgiving, so you should not have to wait in line for 6 hours in the cold just to get something you do not even need. In my opinion, family should have been in their houses with each other enjoying Thanksgiving.

Another thing that I found interesting in the article was how stores are opening earlier and earlier every year. Some stores like Target opened at midnight, while other stores like Walmart opened on Thursday at 10 pm.

If stores keep opening up earlier, it is not going to be Black Friday anymore. My opinion is if you are going to have a Black Friday, have the sales on Friday and not at the night before.

Ungrateful Friday

So Thanksgiving and Black Friday just passed and with it, a lot of stories.

A women in a Porter Ranch Walmart must have really liked the effects of pepper spray if she opened it in the store. It injured seven people and at least twenty had injuries thanks to that. Employees had to evacuate that area of the store according to a cop. Not only that but a customer had to go to the hospital because of breathing issues.

I'm not saying that Black Friday is bad. You might get some good deals. It's just that people go to far. You think that after Thanksgiving people might reflect on what they have and be grateful for it. It's kind of a slap to the face when people eat with their families that night and then immedieatly go out and buy the latest thing for a slightly lower price. As if what they have is not enough. It ruins what Thanksgiving is about.

Dodgeball Should Stay!

When the people who say that dodge ball is an inappropriate sport, they don't include the fact that so is baseball and soccer and basketball.

Dodge ball was banned from schools because of the so called "violence" of it. Yet they don't ban basketball which consists of taking a ball from others in a rough way. Or soccer which comes from kicking not only a ball but sliding and fouling your opponents.

Dodge ball, like any other sport, can be appropriate. It all comes from the way you play. The rules you enforce and the props you use. At a past elementary school, dodge ball was allowed, but was played with adult supervision and soft balls, not rubber.

To take away a sport of fun because of some inappropriate people playing them isn't fair. For the ones that take the necessary precautions to play a fun, yet safe game, are the responsible ones who deserve the joyful game of dodge ball.

A debate that should of already been dealt with.

Into the great doge ball debate. When I herd about this debate I thought wow, people over exaggerate to much. They also have no business changing the PE class.

The over exaggeration is putting it on so long that they even had it on the news! the reporter on the news that I saw was more on the not giving up doge ball. when he was  interviewing a person the man said that the parents or teachers are making the kids tenderized meat with all the ruff edges cut off. that speaks for itself.

Another point is that with out winning and or loosing when it first happens it will be bad and its better to get that over with in school.  it helps because if your older the loss will be huge like if your the star of some sport and you loose the big game to France because you thought that they would hold back because you never lost at anything before they wont because they want to win.

Life goes on if your little but when older it comes with more things to be lost.

Seriously people?,Seriously?

I don't know why dodgeball is such a bad thing. Seriously, the word dodgeball is a compound word combining two words-dodge and ball. Apparently, people can't see that this game means to "dodge the ball".
Maybe if people weren't busy socializing or over thinking how hard the ball is going to hurt when it comes to contact with their skin, they could be strategizing where their opponent was aiming and make sure to stay out of contact. Most people get hit for these reasons.
On the other hand, some kids get hit because the other team is focusing on one student in particular and that person can't get away if their being targeted in on several times.
Although dodgeball warps normal everyday students into terrifying bullies, it shouldn't really be banned. The world outside of the safety of a school is a tough, dog-eats-dog place and students should be prepared for that.
Also, in 6th grade, my school played dodge ball every week and no one got seriously hurt, they stood back up, brushed themselves off, and laughed about it. People shouldn't be that concerned about,

How soft can we get?

The youth in America is getting softer and softer by the minute. We are keeping our common youth away from danger, like preventing them from playing the game doge ball. Parents are afraid we will get hit by the ball and get hurt.

You probably are going to get hurt, but at least you will be building character. Getting hit by the ball does not necessarily mean a bad thing. If you get hit you might think it hurts but later on you will know life is not fair, and you will learn never to give up.

Parents are too worried about their children's well being. Let them live a little and they will not be soft people when heading into the real world.

dodgeball or hurtball ?

Dodgeball has been a big discussion for over 4 years, because it makes kids into bullies. I always wanted to play dodgeball because I seen it in tons of movies. I never got to play though at all at school. I feel a different way about dodgeball now though, I feel it should not be allowed.

It shouldn't be allowed ,because it makes the people who are not so athletic feel like their losers. Also it could hurt the children, but I would't go as far as banning it, I would just have it for the high schoolers.

All though states like Texas,New York and more have banned dodgeball. Other than dodgeball is tag, a principal in Arizona made a new game called shadow tag. I think dodgeball should be banned for children in elementary ,but not for everyone. That's what I think about dodgeball.

A Tenderized America

After reading an article about the inappropriateness of dodgeball and other games like musical chairs, I have made up my mind on whether they truly should be banned from P.E. class.

Kids need to have fun and be safe in P.E. They also need to learn that not everything is not going to be nice and happy. They need to accept the fact that their are always winners and losers. When they grow up, they are not always going to get into the school or job they want. Some people might be better than them and that is something that we all have to deal with.

So is dodgeball good or bad? Absolutely good like another article says. It's a game where you learn from your mistakes. I am not good at dodgeball but I still enjoy playing it. I like the thrill I get when I dodge and jump and swerve to avoid getting hit. America is just going to get softer if dodgeball is banned.

Paintball

So, after just wondering what to write about I came up with paintball because it seems like a cool sport that i know some things about. From what I know their is two teams playing to get or capture an objective.

So after the reahcerch at http://www.howstuffworks.com/paintball.htm i found out that paintball was introduced in the 1980s witch was 20-30 years ago. The article in this site also tells you basic things like how paintball works and how it is unlike other sports.

From my own experience in the field playing paint ball (witch was only once) it was exciting and kind of hurtful. Not all fields are like on TV with perfectly cut grass and bunkers to hide by the place that I played at was this huge desert with a bunch of bushes.

Huskies amaze my face off:)

If there's one animal I love- it's the Siberian Husky. Something about their coat of fur, their stunning eyes, and their athleticism just draws me in. I know that these dogs are originally from Siberia, Russia and that they were bred to be sled dogs, but I wanted to find out more.
When I looked up my question, I found out that Siberian Huskies are also called Chukcha or Chuksha, named after the city Chukchi in which they were bred. They also have nicknames which are huskies or Icee, or Esky meaning "Eskimo pet". Even though these dogs along with the Samoyed and the Alaskan Malamute were used in mushing, but they quickly became house pets and show dogs, and I can see why because they are beautiful.
Appearance wise, most huskies have a facial masking which is basically dark fur surrounding their eyes and muzzle. Heterochromia is also very common with this breed. They are usually a big fluff ball to keep warm in Russia. A healthy husky can live up to 12 to 15 years. They also vary from 45 to 60 pounds. To learn more and see pictures of this fascinating dog, go here and maybe you'll fall head over heels for this husky like I have.

Harry Potter

So when we were given this assignment to pick something we were interested in, I thought of none other than, the worldwide phenomenon, Harry Potter. Of course I already knew a lot about the Harry Potter
series, but what I did not know is how much money did the movie make on their latest movie?

To find out my question, I searched on the internet and found this website called list of high grossing films. On this website I found a list the 50 top films of the world. My film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, was rated number 3 in the world(just above Transformers: Dark of the Moon).

Next to
it was the amount of money the movie got. The Box office Phenomenon earned 1,327,807,704 dollars WORLDWIDE! So far only 10 movies have reached this billion dollar goal. So overall, I found out that the movie made a lot of cash.

The Avengers

Well I have heard about a new Marvel superhero movie called The Avengers. From what I already know it is based on the old comics by the same name. If it is anything like their previous movies, I will definitely be watching it.

I looked up the movie online and found out what it is going to be about. It is basically about the secret organization S.H.E.I.L.D getting a team composed of Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Captain America together to fight an enemy and save the world.

I am now really excited about this new movie. My expectations are very high. I can't wait to see all those famous superheroes on the bigscreen.

hello kitty

Almost everyone knows hello kitty unless you live under a rock! I love hello kitty but I barely know about her.

I have found out her b-day is actually today how amazing and you can thank Yuko Shimizu for making her. She first became famous in the U.S. in 1976. She was created because Shintaro Tsuji the owner of Sanrio wanted cartoons to be on merchandise.

About Hello Kitty: She has a twin sister named Mimmy. She also lives in london,England with her parents.

That's just a few facts I learned about Hello Kitty.

It's a Pillow, It's a Pet, It's a Pillow Pet!

I know almost everyone has heard of the infamous Pillow Pet and I think most of them are really cute and comfortable because I have one myself, but recently I've seen blankets, hats, slippers, and many more. I think it's too much to have these items when it's called the brand is called"Pillow Pets". They are going way overboard with it and should just stick to selling pillows. To see what products they now sell, go here. Don't get me wrong I bet these items are super amazing but the least they could have down was call them "Blanket Pets" or "Slipper Pets" or something along that line.
