In the book speak by laurie halse anderson melinda saying things in her mind, in one part she's saying she wants to hate a girl.She actually liked her instead.I think people dislike athletic,talented,and smart people because their jealous. I mean it's fair to them,because they probably worked hard to be good at what they do.
It's unfair to the one who aren't good at anything feel like nobodys.Also the teachers shouldn't give them to much praise, praise because it makes (pros) feel cocky and prideful.
I don't see that many adults being jealous mostly famous athlete,actors,singers. Seriouly nobody should be jealous of anyone just because there talented. If you really want to be good just practice at what your not good at!!!
