Riddle Me This Riddle Me That?

I have been wondering a lot lately about Batman. And when it was made and how popular it was when it was originally done.

I found out that the 1st Batman ever made was in 1966 when Batman and Robin saved everyone when the Riddler, Joker, Catwomen and Penguin tried to take over the world. They lost with an evil disadvantage. It was directed by Leslie H. Martinson and had a budget of $1,377,800 (estimated).

They later re-made the movie in 1995 called Batman Forvever with Jim Carey who played the Riddler. And after that, many others. Like Batman Begins, Batman Returns, and Batman- The Dark Night.

People know Batman whether it is from 1966 or 2010, everybody know Batman, and all especially the Batman sign.

Why are They Like That?

Guys and girls are very different, but guys aren't portrayed like girls are. Girls are thought to be preppy, girlie and divas, but what they don't know is that girls can also be really cool. Girls have many organizations and help out a lot of people. This month, October, is womens breast cancer awareness month. Women do amazing things just like men. And so I ask why are they like that? The ones who look at ladies in a useless way. And now the ones who don't believe in women can see the truth.

germs

How many germs live on your cell phone?

Created by Oatmeal

I can't believe that I have more germs than Mr.Vega. I never thought I would have that much though. I never lick my phone or anything like that.

So many people have way more germs than I on their phones. Probably because they don't wash there hands after they use the bathroom.Or by not washing your hands after touching public restroom things(stair rails,doors,etc.).

Well you can follow those rules. I'll do all those steps more often and i'll probably have way less germs on my phone.

COD MW3 Game report

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is right around the corner. I have herd that Mountain Dew gives you double EXP for a limited time! 1 bottle gives you about 15 minutes, it depends on the bottle, Doritos gives you time too. The date MW3 is coming out in November 8th 2011. from the trailer that i saw it has better graphics than MW2 from my experience playing it. There's new perks and weapon upgrades so it helps you while playing it. over all i would rate it as a 9\10.

The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye

If you know me, then you know I am a big fan of transformers, specifically the first ever made cartoon series, The Transformers (also called G1, Generation 1, by us fans). The series ran from 1984 to 1987. The series was basically about the good Autobots and evil Decepticons leaving their planet Cybertron and going to Earth in search of resources.

They duke it out on Earth, cons take control of Cybertron, bots take control of Cybertron, and Cybertron was restored to its former glory. The good Autobots (spoiler alert!) win the war! Amazing, didn't see that coming! G1 was made of four seasons and a movie.

Transformers The Movie was a major turning point because it introduced new characters, new settings, and new leaders that the rest of G1 would use. Some of my favorite episodes were War Dawn, The Dweller in the Depths, and Call of the Primitives. It also inspired new series like the new movie trilogy.

It was the 80's so nowadays the cartoon isn't the best, but back then it was a whole different story.

Worlds Finest

What is it about the flavor W.F. Crisp that makes people enjoy it, and when do they eat it? Thus, I asked myself when do people usually eat worlds finest chocolate bar. Before I searched regarding my question, I made a guess that people usually eat the chocolate bar at night. After that I went to a web site called worlds finest chocolate- nutrition facts, I found out that my guess was wrong. People do not usually eat a chocolate bar at night but they eat it during lunch. I also found out that some people eat chocolate during breakfast. The percentage of eating chocolate during breakfast is almost the same as people eating chocolate during dinner. As you can see, most consumers eat W.F. Crisp during lunch than any other meal.

College...

College, a major role to be played in all lives of anyone that wishes to be anyone, but is the tedious costs, issues, conflicts, and pressure worth it?

Many think it is, providing another major layer of education, one either focused still upon the general aspect of knowledge, or the specialization of your new life career, it can make you, depending on the job, a ton of money to strive and success in life to the American Dream, some say it furthers social ideals or skills, provides a plenty excellent memory of life, or a place to find your "sweetheart", either way it -will- provide pressure aswell, and plenty of it.

Stress, pressure, college life is just that, from what i've read and from what my ancestors and family remember, college is not all sunshine and daisies, you may find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but that rainbow isn't always going to be nice, college will prove to you many things of real, actual hard life, a step up from your old schools and into a professor filled house of horror, you'll learn plenty of social life too, you're not no special snowflake, just the same as everyone else, the normal ending of settle that awaits you is a long wished goal, with a tad bit of something different from the others, but many think this same thing is just that, the same thing. Atleast I do.

Poe.

It's been most recently, through searching and this very blog, that i've found many people believe Edgar Allan Poe to be insane, crazy, and even a satanist. I have thought well that this quite forward assumption, and statement of such, that -that- is crazy to think, if you criticize a man or woman for their inspiration, the horrors endured through his life and the writings that proceed from it, it's just plain not right, inspiration can come from every corner of a persons mental or physical being, it's unthoughful to think him a satan worshipper, or insane, mental. Perhaps his writings are creepy yes, but the writings are without a doubt a form of perfection and transfusion of his mind, his inspiration made into raw form of words, you should learn from it, not neglect how it is.

"Disturbed Story from a Disturbed Writer" True or False?

Well, after thinking about the title for a little bit I have come up with a few answered beside just true and false. Yes I think its true because after the video we saw in class about Edgar Allan Poe i learned that most of his closest loved ones died by one disease. (warning this is a spoiler DON'T READ if you haven't read the story)(unless you want to) In Masque of the Red Death the disease known as the red death comes and kills everyone even though every thing was sealed off. As many of you know a lot of Poe's writing disturbed a lot of people. That might of been because of the way he wrote or because he wanted people to feel that way. So the Disturbance of Poe wold be by the childhood he had. you can see that here (first paragraph).People who can wright these don't  have  to have horrible childhood but has to have a strong mind. So False.

Edgar Allen Poe?

Edgar Allen Poe pure genius or crazy, today's headlines! I mean Edgar was know as begin crazy for writing things like "the masque of the red death" ,when he was only trying to show how he felt about that disease. which I thought was pure genius because who would write such a creative story like that about loosing your loved ones from a disease like tuberculous. I also thought he was crazy for writing a love story about his own 12 cousin , who he was in love with when he was like in his 20's. I would freak out if my older cousin loved me that much. That's what I thought about when I hear the name Edgar Allen Poe.

Edgar Allen Poe- Just a Hurt Man

Some say that authors who write disturbing stories are disturbed themselves, but that isn't always necessarily true. A recent conflict has broken out about Edgar Allen Poe who had lost many loved-ones due to disease. His stories were very dark but that didn't mean he was dark himself. He came from a hurt place and let out his rage by stories. He was not a true psycho but a true writer. He put his emotions, his rage into his stories which made them the masterpiece they are today. Edgar Allen Poe was not disturbed, but a lost sole, by showing his emotions in a world of writing.

Edgar Allen Poe is not crazy

Edgar Allen Poe is known world-wide for his demented, sick, detailed stories. People think he writes such gory stories because his mind doesn't work right and he's messed up in the head. I believe he wrote this way because he had personnel experience. He lost a lot of loved-ones to tuberculosis and if you noticed most of his work is about blood and death. In Poe's "Masque of the Red Death" he gives a small hint that tuberculosis was the plague killing everyone off. Also, it's something new that nobody else would dare to think of. He's not insane, he's a genius really. People just can't get deep down into his stories and read in between the lines. Such detailed stories deserved to be recognized instead of brought down.

Blogg

Some people judge an author by how they write. They say if they publish an insane story, there is something wrong with them. Well, I believe that an author is free to write what he believes in. People should not judge them by how psychotic their stories are. Authors have endless possibilities and when they are sometimes intimidated by people's opinions, they cannot reach their full potentials. Thus, we should let them freely write what they feel. Who knows you might actually like what a psychotic author writes. So the next time you feel that an author is insane just from reading his/her stories, do not jump to conclusions because you might be hurting someone's career.

Freaky or just normal people

Some might think that some authors are some of the most crazy and strange people on the world for what they write. Well how do we know how people really are? They are most likely just really creative and imaginative people. Take Edgar Allan Poe for instance, he wrote some really disturbing stories, but it doesn't prove that he is a creep or something like that. Take another author Sarah Vowell, she writes books about dead presidents and the history of Hawaii. She does it in a humorous way though. That doesn't make her into a bloodthirsty smart person. Judge people for who they really are, not on what they write.

Question about College

Does BYU have a good athletics program? Here is where you find the answer. If you're too lazy to move the mouse to the Hyperlink and click it, then I'll just have to tell you. For women's soccer a player named McKinzie Olson  played Goalie making 47 saves, in six more saves she will be the BYU all time career saves leader. The football team is also great. You can look up their statistics online. I watch them play on television and I think they are a very good team. BYU has a wide range of sports from Basketball to swimming and gymnastics all the way to golf.  Their basketball team did have a 15-game win streak in 2009-10, which is the second longest in program history.  While looking at the website, i also found facts about their hockey team and their swimming team. Learning these facts has made me want to go to BYU. So to answer my main question yes after my research i believe it does have a good athletics program

College?

I have always had many questions about college. I have always wondered if collgege was hard. A local recorce states that college is 5 times harder then high school. But even though it is hard, it can also be really fun. Some say the best part of college is the capus. Such as this one above, its beautiful, educational, and a great place to start new with high goals. College can be challenging but can also be an amazing experience if you open your mind to it.

My question on colleges and universities

I was wondering what is the difference between a college and a university. After doing about two minutes of research I found the answer to my amazing question. Colleges focus on some degrees in a specific area. You get a degree on that specific area. Universities are like a bunch of little colleges all put together in the same place. They offer a lot more degrees than a college does. You can get a degree on a lot more things in a there such as law or medicine. Universities are big while colleges are usually smaller. This could be different for some other countries though. Well I did learn the answer to a question that has been bugging me for a while that I have not bothered to find the answer to.
Even though it might seem a little to early to be looking for colleges. It wasn't to early when I was 9 or 10 thinking about being a lawyer going to la Verne college. Now I changed my career completely because now I envision myself going to a fashion college specifically in Milan,Italy. The reason why you ask is because it's the fashion capital of the world and, if you seen me I have style?? I have found the perfect college and its exactly what I was looking for to its called the up to date fashion academy. The three main reasons why people go to a fashion college in a foreign country is 1.to be a fashion designer 2.have a different kind of job than everyone else 3.to get away from home. the reason i want to go is because 1.i love fashion with a passion 2.I'll have a different experience because I'm not at home 3.i can meet new people and learn how they live. If you would want to be a fashion designer check out the website http://www.fashionuptodate.com/#/?page=courses_en

Cal Poly

Well, when we were given this assignment about college, I thought of Cal Poly. I did not know much about the college so I asked myself,"How much it costs to go to Cal Poly University if you do not wish to have a board room?" So I searched on the web and found a website called cost of attendance. I found out that it would cost 3,654 dollars less to board in a room. Without the expense on a dorm, you will only have to pay 13,410 bucks a year. So I have come to the conclusion; if you do not stay in a dorm, then you will save more money a year.

Beautiful Colleges in California?

It has been a dream of mine to attend or even visit the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising ever since I was younger because of the rumored gorgeous campuses. I knew you couldn't have a fashion school that wasn't amazing, so when I found out there was a pink institute in Orange County I almost cried! There are four FIDM locations: Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. Each school has a different vibe that makes each one unique. I like the campus in L.A. best because it's quite close to home, it is in my eyes more stunning than the others, and it has fashion showcased by Will.I.Am, Juicy Couture, and many more. Visit here to check out some of the other cool things FIDM has to offer their students.

How it went to do good

Well, on my last post I was telling you what I was going to do to be good. I did start by waiting at my house and I am now waiting every where I need to wait. Also saying thank you has been going great and i have been saying thank you to every one that did something nice to me or anyone.

Blogg Nice

Well my plan turned out to be a success. In my first class I said hi to the person next to me. In turn he said hi back. However, at my second class I was not that successful. I did not know him so when I said hi, he just said nothing. That proves my point, some people do not say hi to people that they do not know. My 3rd, 4th, and 5th period classes were repetitive. All they did was nod their head. It was like an empty comment. Overall the people in my classes today were polite.

what I have been doing

I just did a helpful thing right now by helping Mr.Vega passing out computers to the class! Also I have said "hi" to people i know but not to people i don't know yet. I'll get back to you by Friday though. It's hard to say hi to people that you don't know though.

Making the World Better-Results!

My results from making the World better were pretty good. I didn't find anyone being bullied but I did get a new neighbor so I decided to introduce myself. I thought it would be weird and scary to meet someone new but it was really easy. I said my name, they said theirs. Done. I could see from the look on their face that they were anxious at first since they didn't know anyone in the neighborhood but they seemed to have calmed down once they knew at least one person. It made me feel good for just letting someone know my name and not completely ignoring them. I know it must have made their day.

Do They Think I'm Crazy?

So lately I have been trying a new thing. Many talk about how the world isn't a good place, so I decided to do a little experiment. I decided to smile at people I don't know. The results were mutual. I got some sweet smiles back, but I also got some um do I know you smiles as well. That just shows that smiling can make the world a better place, for the people you know who are having a bad day, but for the people you don't know. Well, that won't do any good.

My mixed results

After a couple days of my experiment, I report that my results varied from person to person. I said hi to some kids and they usually just stared at me while very few said an almost in audible hi. As I was leaving school one day I was walking through a door, and a lady behind me was carrying a lot of papers and books. I thought that it would be nice to help her out so I held the door open for her. She walked through looking surprised and said thank you and gave me a smile. I guess people don't do simple things like that nowadays and when someone does do that, they are surprised and grateful. That just shows how the world is in great need of people being nice. The only thing I forgot to do was to give gummy bears and lollipops out. I'll just do that next time.

Changing the World 1 smile at a time

I can be a very mean person, and the world has been suffering from mean people and for me, I can make the world a better place by giving a smile to random people I see. When someone you don't know smiles at you, it could be considered as creepy or kind. But when someone goes out of their way to give you a smile, it makes you feel happy. And that could make the world a better place because people need to start being kind and treating one another with respect and care.

make the world better place (baby steps)

''We are the world'' if we are the world we live in should be much better. Sadly it's not so i'm going to make the world a better place. I'm going to do that by saying hi to people I know and introduce myself to people I don't know. Wish me luck hopefully no one calls me a ''LOSER'' for telling them hi if I don't know them.
