College...

College, a major role to be played in all lives of anyone that wishes to be anyone, but is the tedious costs, issues, conflicts, and pressure worth it?

Many think it is, providing another major layer of education, one either focused still upon the general aspect of knowledge, or the specialization of your new life career, it can make you, depending on the job, a ton of money to strive and success in life to the American Dream, some say it furthers social ideals or skills, provides a plenty excellent memory of life, or a place to find your "sweetheart", either way it -will- provide pressure aswell, and plenty of it.

Stress, pressure, college life is just that, from what i've read and from what my ancestors and family remember, college is not all sunshine and daisies, you may find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but that rainbow isn't always going to be nice, college will prove to you many things of real, actual hard life, a step up from your old schools and into a professor filled house of horror, you'll learn plenty of social life too, you're not no special snowflake, just the same as everyone else, the normal ending of settle that awaits you is a long wished goal, with a tad bit of something different from the others, but many think this same thing is just that, the same thing. Atleast I do.

  1. I agree with you that college is a land of many opportunities. I also liked how you used the prospective of both sides of the story. However, you probably want to use less idioms in your blog though. Do not get me wrong, your idioms were clever but I just do not think it is good to use that much idioms. Over all you did a nice job on your blog.

  2. Excellent reference to the special snowflake. Chuck Palahniuk, the guy who wrote Fight Club, has a nice line in that book about being a beautiful, unique snowflake.
